CoronaWeek -- Day 2

Hello! Welcome to Day number dos of CoronaWeek! *halfhearted yay* But in all seriousness, it's not every day you get to experience the world ending. Here are some ideas on some things to do:

  • Write in your Jornal about what's happening/how you're coping, it could be interesting to look back on this.
  • Do some Family History! Ok, yes this might not sound very fun, but I think it is sooooooo
  • Shred some cheese and make cheese puns! What? Is this idea not gouda enough for you?
  • Do your homework! ok yeah, this isn't fun but I mean you should do it.
  • Take a super long shower until your fingers look like raisins.
  • Practice instruments if you even do that kinda stuff.
  • Listen to music!
  • Go into your backyard and sing at the top of your lungs so your neighbors will never see you the same way again.
  • Make some memes!
  • Look at the blog!
Ok so those ideas were pretty funny and I mean you can do them if you want, but the actual reason for this post is so you can find something to do

K, so without further ado, the actual post:

Day 2: Books, Books, and Even More Books

As you can tell from the title, this is all about Books! Books, in my opinion, are amazing. Some of my faves are Harry Potter, Percy Jackson, Twilight (I'm only on the first book tho so shhhhh don't spoil it), Goose Girl, Wonder, Out of my mind, Warriors, and so many more! The point is, I really like books, and they're something you can do without human interaction (which is a great thing because we're all bored and alone at home).

But let's face it, not everyone likes being alone in a corner curled up to read books for hours, so how do we make reading more fun? (as if it wasn't fun already, but some people get kinda bored of that sooooo)
Fun Book Ideas

1. A Play

We all know you, yes I mean you, have wanted to be a hero. Don't get embarassed about it! in fact, it's perfectly normal (well, for me anyways). So, why not pretend to be one of them? Gather a group of less than 10 people (or more if you wanna be a rebel), whip out the camera, and act out some scenes from a book! make props from cardboard or something, get creative!

2. Read A New Book

Also, (I'm a bit sad to admit this) you might get tired of reading the same books after a while, so curl up on your favorite chair, grab a fluffy blanket (and hot cocoa if you're not prone to spilling drinks), and dive into a new book!

3. More Book-y Ideas
  1. Write a story!
  2. Bake a cake and decorate it to look like a book! (if you decorate it to look like scriptures then you can feast on the words of Christ.)
  3. Read a book with your pet, or if you don't have a pet, steal someone's pet! (ok, actually don't steal someone's pet)
  4. Read a book to your family!
  5. Read a book and then watch the movie to criticize the things they did wrong in producing it.
Andddd that's it! Stay tuned for more #CoronaWeek posts
